School Attendance Software Features & Modules

1-Second Gate RFID & UHF Readers
Students scan RFID badges or walk past long-range UHF antennae gates upon arrival. Gate pings are instantly processed and recorded with sub-second accuracy.
Tap readers suit narrow gates and cost less per lane; UHF antennae read badges from up to eight metres so a whole queue of students clears without stopping. Each ping carries the tag EPC, the reader ID and a timestamp, and is de-duplicated server-side so a student who walks back and forth is not marked in twice. Readers buffer locally during an internet outage and replay on reconnect.
Biometric Face & Fingerprint Recognition
Connect Hikvision or ZKTeco facial recognition terminals to campus gates for anti-spoofing automated attendance logs.
Face terminals solve the problem RFID cannot: a borrowed badge. Liveness detection rejects photographs and video replays, so proxy attendance stops being possible. Face templates stay on the terminal itself and never reach our servers — we receive only the resolved student ID and timestamp, which keeps biometric data out of cloud storage entirely.
Daily & Period-Wise Attendance
Supports single daily check-ins for primary schools or subject-period tracking (Period 1 to 8) for secondary classes and universities.
Primary schools typically need one gate check-in per day. Secondary schools and universities need to know who was in Period 4 Chemistry. Both models run in the same system, configured per class, so a K-12 campus can use daily mode for the junior wing and period mode for the senior wing without running two products.
Instant Web Push & Gate Alerts
Notify parents instantly on web or mobile browsers the exact minute their child enters or leaves school premises.
Notifications go out over web push, so parents do not have to install an app and you do not pay per-SMS charges. Alerts are unlimited on every paid plan. Parents can subscribe to arrival only, departure only, or both, and late-arrival and unexpected-exit events can be routed to school staff as well.
Exam Gradebook & Official Report Cards
Enter subject marks, auto-compute overall grades, class ranks, and generate printable PDF report cards with principal signatures.
Teachers enter raw marks per subject per exam; the system computes totals, percentages, grades against your grading scale, and class rank. Report cards render as print-ready PDFs carrying your school header and principal signature block, and can be generated for a whole class in one action rather than one student at a time.
Parent Leave & Exit QR Gatepasses
Parents submit leave requests online. Once approved by teachers, a scannable exit QR gatepass is issued for school security.
This closes the most common campus security gap: a student leaving mid-day on a verbal claim. Parents raise the request with an optional medical attachment, the class teacher approves, and only then does a QR pass exist. Gate security scans it on the way out, the pass is consumed, and the exit is written to the same attendance log as gate pings.
Fee Ledger & Dues Collector
Track outstanding tuition fees, record offline bank/cash payments, and print official fee receipts.
Fee structures are defined per class per term. The ledger tracks each student as PAID, PARTIAL or UNPAID, and accountants can record cash, cheque, UPI and bank transfers against an invoice with a reference number. Receipts print with your GSTIN and a sequential receipt number, and the dues view filters by class so follow-up can be delegated to class teachers.

How a school day runs through the system
The modules are not separate products bolted together — they share one student record, so a gate ping at 07:52 is the same event a teacher sees in the register at 08:10 and an accountant sees against a fee defaulter's profile that afternoon.

07:40 — Arrival
Students tap a badge or walk through a UHF antenna gate. Each read is de-duplicated, stamped with the reader ID, and written to the day's attendance record. Parents who subscribed to arrival alerts get a web push within a second or two. -
08:10 — Classroom register
The teacher opens the register and finds it pre-filled from gate data, and corrects exceptions only — a student who came in through the staff gate, or one who is on campus but not in class. A five-minute roll call becomes a thirty-second review. -
11:30 — Mid-day exit
A parent raises a leave request from the Parent Portal with a doctor's note attached. The class teacher approves it; only then does a QR gatepass exist. Security scans it at the gate, the pass is consumed so it cannot be reused, and the exit lands in the attendance log. -
15:20 — Departure & reports
Exit pings close the day. Admin staff pull an attendance report filtered by class and date range, export CSV for the management meeting, and check the hourly distribution to see whether the gate is congesting at peak. -
Term end — Results & fees
Teachers enter subject marks; the gradebook computes totals, grades and class rank, then renders print-ready report cards for a whole class in one action. Accounts run the dues ledger, record cash and UPI payments against invoices, and print GSTIN-carrying receipts.
